This course will train delegates to effectively operate an automated external defibrillator (AED) and provide the confidence and knowledge of what to do in an emergency. AED's are proven to save lives and are an invaluable addition to health and safety provision for employees in a workplace.

- Managing an emergency
- Communication and casualty care
- Chest pains
- Getting to know the AED (any type)
- Operating the AED
- Treatment of an unresponsive casualty
- Resuscitation (CPR)
No previous first aid knowledge is needed to attend an AED course.
If you are interested in furthering your emergency first aid skills, or already take part in an organised first aid scheme, then this course would suit you. If you are a health care worker then this course will serve as a basic module.
